On November 23, 2003 - eclipse day in Antarctica - I was the only Canadian eclipse chaser aboard the Russian icebreaker Kapitan Khlebnikov. We had positioned ourselves on the ice shelf right in the path of totality. Minutes before the eclipse began, the Discovery Channel did this interview with me by satellite phone from the bow of the ship! Awesome day!
