2006 Moon Shadow Animation

This is one of the best pieces of media I have seen to illustrate how dramatic the Moon’s umbral march is across the planet. It was produced by the Space Science Engineering Center at University of Wisconsin, Madison, using real satellite images taken on eclipse day, 29 March 2006.  Awesome!
