I have just returned home from witnessing totality on the China / Mongolia border. But as you can see from the image below by Anne Canright, we dodged a bullet on this one. Clouds covered the eclipse for much of the partial phases. But as luck would have it, the celestial pair emerged into clear skies with only moments to spare.
