The images in this collection were taken between November 2 and December 4, 2003, on the Quark Expeditions voyage to the total eclipse in Antarctica.

Aboard the icebreaker Kapitan Khlebnikov we journeyed 8,000 miles from the tip of South Africa - to Crozet and Kerguelen Islands in the Indian Ocean - to Davis Station on the Antarctic continent - to our eclipse site west of the Shackleton Ice Shelf - and all the way back up to Hobart, Tasmania.
